Upswing
It's been 24 hours since I've seen mom and I must say that things are really on the upswing!! She's really starting to breathe more on her own and they're thinking about removing the tube tomorrow. I also had the privilege of meeting "dearest Jeremy" for the first time as he routinely visits mom in her room. We all can't wait until mom can talk with us and also tell us how much she loves all the pictures that the kids have made for her.

Keep it up Kate! I'm sure the sight of Jeremy is getting that breathing and heartbeat right up where it belongs. Kudos to the nursing staff. Just keeping in touch to cheer you on.

P.S. - Mark got to hang out with the X Games athletes here in Aspen last weekend. He got to slip the half pipe after Shaun White, the gold medalist, won. SO COOL. xoxoxoxo

PS. If I'm not mistaken, I think today, Feb 4th, is the anniversary of your first date with "The bird".Sorry to say I can remember the year, but it was sometime in the 60's.
