But I know my Mom is somewhere so utterly honored and humbled by all of the kind words said about her and the outpours of people that came to her service and shiva. She truly is loved by so many and just hope she was able to look down on the entire thing and see how she'll be missed.
We encourage you to keep her spirit alive through memories and stories. If you join us at Shiva, you can write in the memory book we have for her or if you stop by the house anytime thereafter, just ask to see the memory book so you too can share a story.
OR, please feel free to write things on this blog. We can always print things out for her memory book. And in the upcoming days and weeks, this blog can certainly help get us all through by sharing all the things we know, love and remember about Kate.
We've so enjoyed having this blog to connect with all of you--we share someone very special in common, my Mom, so for me it would mean a lot to still be able to share things here.
Much love,
jen

Jen & Family:
You were on my mind for most of the day yesterday as I thought about what a difficult day it must have been for all of you. There is definitely comfort in numbers and hearing such wonderful accolades and stories about your loved one can lift your spirits, particularly at a time like this. I know your Mom left quite a legacy and an indelible mark on many lives. I hope you continue to keep her memory and life alive by keeping pictures up, speaking her name and in time, laughing alot. The best to all of you...
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. What an amazing woman!! I'll never forget the energy and love of Mrs. O. She was a beautiful person and she would be so honored by your send off. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Jen- you are so strong, I can only imagine how much you are hurting. I would love to reconnect soon.

Dear Jen,
Unfortunately, I have been out of the loop but after flipping through Facebook via Erin's account I am heart broken and saddened to hear of your mother's passing and this tremendous loss to your family. With last week's snow stopper and my returning from Florida just yesterday, I am very late with both my support and condolences. This event is especially touching because my weekend trip to Florida was in honor of my dad's passing five years ago. Laying flowers at his place of rest reminded me of the precious gift of life, especially that of our parents. May you find comfort to ease what is undoubtedly a heavy heart and may your mom's soul rest in eternal peace.
With love from me, Erin and Simone

Hi Jen:
You and your family did a magnificent job honoring your mom yesterday. I'm not gonna lie, I'm grateful you decided not to karaoke from the pulpit, not only to spare my ears but also to give me a chance to imagine your mom singing along to "Forever Young" in my head.
Get some sleep knowing you did her proud. I'll be thinking of you all in the weeks and months to come.
Jen, Al, Shawn, Lisa, Stephanie, Jake, and all the grandchildren,
What a beautiful, touching, heartrending send off for Kate. I know she was watching and definitely singing along to forever young. It was an honor for our family to be there with you and to grieve along side of all of you. Al and I spent today talking about Kate and Albie. Remembering all of the great times we had together and regretting the the ones we were planning in the future that will not happen. Kate will always be in my thoughts as will all of you. Stay tough ; the support of many will still be there for all of you. Whatever and whenever you are in need we will be there. You can always count on us.
Love to all of you, May God hold you and comfort you

Jen,
I never had the pleasure of meeting your mom, but getting to know you has been such a joy. I am so sorry for you and your family's loss. I can't imagine the pain and heartbreak you are going through, but I am here for you always. I send my love and prayers. I can't wait for you to get back so I can hug you!
Love,
Sarah
